Celebrating its sixth year in 2010, the much-anticipated spring festival features chefs and winemakers converging in Beaufort from all around the state, and the country.
The Beaufort Wine and Food Weekend showcases award-winning offerings from select wineries and winemakers and irresistible food from local and regional celebrity chefs. The five-day charitable event combines the public’s appreciation for wine and food with an appreciation for worthy local organizations and culinary programs, and has positioned itself as one of the area’s premier tourism events.
Noted travel writer Doc Lawrence says of the Beaufort Wine and Food Weekend, “This growing event is coming on strong, attracting gourmets from throughout the country. You really have to scratch your head to think of any other festival that has such a spectacular backdrop of natural beauty, history and admirable lifestyle.”

After earning Five-Stars from the Mobil Travel Guide for his regional American cooking at the Woodlands Resort & Inn, a Relais & Chateaux property and Gourmand Dining Room in South Carolina, he became the Executive Chef of The Georgian Room at The Cloister Hotel and Spa in Georgia, where he again earned Five-Stars from the Mobil Travel Guide and critical praise.
