About the Weekend

The Beaufort Wine & Food Weekend was founded in 2005 in order to showcase the best food and
wine on the Crystal Coast while benefitting area non-profit organizations. In 2011, proceeds from the Beaufort Wine & Food Weekend will go to the Beaufort Historical Association, Friends of the North Carolina Maritime Museum and the Carteret Community College Culinary School.

Mission Statement:

     The purpose of the Beaufort Wine & Food Weekend is to showcase great wineries and winemakers from around the world and pair them with food prepared by local, regional and visiting chefs in an intimate coastal setting along the Crystal Coast.   Funds raised from the event go directly to non-profits that excel in drawing tourism to Carteret County. This five-day charitable event is a fundraiser for the Beaufort Historical Association, the Friends of the North Carolina Maritime Museum, and the Carteret Community College Culinary School.
